Yes, Jeffrey Epstein is dead, perhaps murdered, but his chief fixer and lieutenant that handled his sleazy pedophile ring, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, was moved by the Trump regime last year to a minimum security cupcake federal prison for women. They even gave her access to a puppy.
She’s the only person behind bars for these nauseating crimes. A woman is the only person imprisoned for a global child-rape operation run by and for men.
And the coterie of wealthy powerful dipshits and useless royalty involved with what’s said to be a sex crime scandal with perhaps a thousand victims, many underage?
Epstein crony and client Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, aka the ex-Prince Andrew, has been humiliated by having some titles and perks stripped by his big brother the king of England, but otherwise roams free. As does his ex-wife, ex-Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, who’s busy issuing worthless apologies for eagerly being Epstein’s pal and taking his money.
The Slovakian government sacked its national security adviser, Miroslav Lajcak, while Norway suspended a diplomat over their Epstein links. The former British ambassador to the U.S. was shitcanned last year over Epstein and resigned from the Labour Party over the weekend. Norway’s Crown Princess Mette-Marit issued an apology for her weird connections to Epstein.
What about Epstein’s American clients and allies mentioned in the files?
Epstein’s BFF of many years – a convicted rapist and well-established sexpest – remains president of the United States and defiantly insists the newest massive tranche of disclosures absolves him of any crimes. The files, of course, reveal utterly grotesque accusations about Trump sexually assaulting women and girls – and the Justice Department swiftly removed some of them from the searchable online database not long after they were made public. The allegations alone, which remain uncorroborated by authorities, would have ended any other presidency, but not Trump’s – some of his backers will and are defending pedophilia, or are trying to minimize it.
Casey Wasserman, the powerful talent agent and L.A. Olympics boss, apologized for being an Epstein crony. New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch issued a statement that can be reduced to: “I didn’t use Epstein as a pimp for child rape, only for adult sex.” Former treasury secretary Larry Summers has been in seclusion. Some corporate law doofus resigned. Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon, and legions of other powerful men in the files all remain free and unencumbered by real accountability.
Epstein apparently kept a photo of himself and the monstrous Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in his home. Human scum tends to proudly coagulate together.
All of these people are paying the bare minimum price, or none at all, for associating with one of history’s worst criminals (and yes, some people mentioned in the files clearly had nothing to do with Epstein personally or in any sordid way). No one else is in prison or in any way seriously punished for participating in a ghastly child rape syndicate. At best, they’re embarrassed and inconvenienced.
Fuck all of these sordid, dissipated lechers. These profligate satyrs and debauched scoundrels are richer than any pharaoh, emperor, or tsar in history yet are morally bankrupt in every conceivable way.
What’s enraging is not just that these people remain free from real consequences, but that conservatives are trying to rehabilitate Epstein and attack his critics to ensure Trump and MAGA maintain their shabby hold on power. Look at this:

Not all views and thoughts deserve space in the public marketplace of ideas. Fascism and pedophilia are two concepts that not only do not merit debate, their advocates should be driven from society and into sewer exile. This isn’t a controversial position if you’re not a morally-rotted cretin and grifting freak. Like weak-chinned “alpha male” influencer/accused rapist and Trump family crony Andrew Tate, who is spending his time taunting Epstein critics that they’ll never be as cool as him.

And if you protest and resist the bleak realm they’ve created, the president’s personal paramilitary secret police can murder you on the street and the regime will smear you and your family as disloyal terrorists. Or the regime will bring the weight of the federal government down on you to intimidate you and chill criticism via arrest, investigations, travel restrictions, and expensive legal quagmires. State media, duplicitous news outlets, and grifting social media parasites will pile on, too.
If you have a gun, you’re now eligible for immediate execution by Trump’s illiterate masked street brutes because the Second Amendment no longer applies. Due process was murdered and buried in an unmarked grave a while ago, too.
The U.S. government is buying and building a nationwide archipelago of concentration camps, with your tax dollars, that will house tens of thousands of kidnapped immigrants whose legal status and actual citizenship is actually unknown. American citizens are swept up without hesitation and without warrants. Or simply murdered.
The camps are being built by perverted Nazis to imprison non-white people desperate to seek a better life than their desperate homelands that have been twisted and exploited by a century-plus of American foreign policy and capitalism.
Don’t forget, being undocumented is a misdemeanor, not a felony. Millions are here legally under specific laws for refugees and asylum seekers, and the regime simply declares them no longer legal. Trump and his goons long ago abandoned the pretext of rounding up actual undocumented criminals and instead kidnaps hard-working regular people, their children, the elderly, and people literally at immigration hearings. And they’re willing to tear gas elementary schools and even infants to meet Stephen Miller’s ethnic cleaning quotas.
How white America treated everyone else domestically and globally is finally coming home to roost. After centuries of bullshit, this was always the inevitable outcome in a society that’s perverted itself with mythical bullshit like trickle-down economics and letting evangelical fascists achieve power so they can create a Christian white nationalist state led by a so-called Red Caesar (of Hillsdale College fever dreams but increasingly real).
Our grim reality today was built brick by brick over 400 years.
“Why don’t they arrest him?” – I see variations of that sentiment in the replies after every post and story about Trump and Epstein pedophilia accusations. Last weekend’s dump of three million-plus Epstein documents has further peeled back the curtain on what’s clearly a global sex trafficking ring that catered to the wealthy and powerful.
If you search the Justice Department’s Epstein files page – you have to be 18 or older to view it, which is grossly ironic – you will find “Trump” comes up more than 5,000 times. Which makes you wonder how much he’s mentioned and credibly accused of crimes in the millions of other pages they continue to hide or redact. As others have noted, Trump is mentioned more often in the files than Jesus is mentioned in the Bible or Harry Potter is mentioned in all seven books of that series.

Again, those are reasonable, instinctual questions for any non-monstrous person to ask, but the answer is one we all already know: Trump remains in power and immune from justice because he’s the face and lead henchman of the deranged cabal of affluent assholes that rules the world. There is no one to arrest the mad deviant oaf-king who is an accused participant in the most infamous child rape and trafficking ring in human history.
Thanks to the conservative-bent Supreme Court that’s ruled that Trump is a near deity, and a GOP-controlled Congress that has abdicated its entire role as a co-equal branch of government to instead serve as a servile peanut gallery for him (and Chuck Schumer sitting meekly in a stained Red Roof Inn cuck chair), the president has near imperial powers and immunity that shields him from any consequences. And he’s created a personal militia to invoke his will, protect him, and intimidate and kill anyone that opposes the regime. If we have elections in November, do not be shocked to see armed and masked federal agents with rifles trying to menace voters at the polls in battleground and Democratic states.
From a broader perspective, this is simply capital protecting itself. It will finance authoritarianism to protect its profits, avoid taxes, and fend off accountability. It will shield child molesters and war criminals. It will burn the Earth and incinerate human beings to boost share prices a penny. It’s the ideology of nihilism and, infamously, that of the cancer cell that must kill its host to continue relentless growth – for a while, at least. And some of these freaks are spending madly to even conquer death.
The ruling class, capital, “the system” — it’s all the same people worldwide and it’s been exposed as a corrupt enterprise that rules our lives and holds us hostage. Fascist, totalitarian, authoritarian, autocratic … the system wears variations of the same mask but the goal is the same: The rich get richer and never face a reckoning for their crimes, while the rest of us must be obedient cogs in the machine that makes them wealthier. Start asking questions or making trouble and the hammer comes down.
As for Trump, there is no realistic mechanism to remove him because our system of government has degraded into a protection racket for the naked emperor and his allies to plunder the treasury and enrich themselves while behaving as sadistic aristocratic perverts.
It’s telling that many email exchanges in the files came after Epstein was released from prison in 2009 and was classified as a lifelong high-risk repeat sex offender. That wasn’t a deal-killer for these lewd, detestable bastards.
That Epstein ended up in prison at all was more likely a function of him being a weird, sloppy dunce that installed surveillance systems in his homes and on his rape island so that he apparently could amass blackmail evidence against his powerful clients. They also willingly posed for smiling photos with him.
After all, he got rich by charging the ultra-wealthy exorbitant fees for financial services – a parasitic remora feeding on even richer vampires like Les Wexner and the Rothschilds. Forbes estimated he made nearly $500 million from 1999 to 2018 via such charges alone. But he kept more than receipts than just for asset management. He knew who raped children.
The ruling class likely felt like he was a predatory traitor and feared he had the evidence that many elite members of global society were criminal perverts. Their patience with him had limits. When the local Palm Beach cops investigated and busted him in 2005-06 for trafficking children, it was the powerful that came to his aid. His legal team included Alan Dershowitz, Ken Starr, Roy Black, and Steven Pinker.
The feds stepped in and Epstein got a sweetheart deal of just 18 months in prison plus fines, a pact green-lit by then-U.S. Attorney Alexander Acosta, who Trump later made his labor secretary and who now sits on the board of far-right propaganda slop factory Newsmax.
That deal was in 2007-08, and soooooo many of the emails between Epstein and the powerful are after he was publicly outed as a pedophile and had done prison time (not even 13 of the 18 months, in fact). The elites still sought him out despite the knowledge he was a child molester and pimp. They emailed, called, visited, and partied with a known sex offender that had abused children. High society worked to rehabilitate him with some success. Publicist Peggy Siegal advised him and wrote sympathetic emails to him. Even Noam Chomsky was close to him and advised him, while Woody Allen was unsurprisingly an Epstein buddy that was among those that Epstein showered with gifts as he tried to work his way back.
The rich have their own laws that have nothing to do with courts and cops.
When Epstein was finally arrested by the feds in July 2019, it came after years of public pressure by victim advocates and journalists. He was dead inside a jail cell just over a month later.
Epstein hanged himself. Or someone had him killed. I have no idea what is true, and I am not naturally inclined to conspiracy theories – but this disgusting, crude motherfucker had the goods on a lot of extremely powerful and amoral people, so it’s certainly possible the ruling class had him murdered to silence him.
Occasionally, conspiracy theories are true. Do you put it past this debauched band of perverts to kill the one guy that could bring the whole gilded shithouse tumbling down? These are the same people that gleefully finance war and genocide and rape for profit, and sow doubt about science and medicine and basic facts while undercutting democracy and even the concept of empathy.

That is the situation in Palm Beach these days, and the natives are not happy with it. There is trouble on all fronts. Profits are down, the whole concept of personal privacy has gone up for grabs, and the president might be a fool. That is not the kind of news these people want to hear, or even think about. Municipal bonds and dividend checks are the life blood of this town, and the flow shall not be interrupted for any reason.
Nor shall privacy be breached. The rich have certain rules, and these are two of the big ones: maintain the privacy and the pipeline at all costs—although not necessarily in that order—it depends on the situation, they say; and everything has its price, even women.
Hunter Thompson wrote those words for Rolling Stone as the lede to his coverage of the Roxanne Pulitzer divorce trial in 1983. What he described more than 40 years ago still rings true today, although the sex-and-drugs Pulitzer trial was almost quaint by today’s standards. Everyone was an adult and discretion mattered. Email and social media were not a thing, either.
There are hideous scandals occasionally—savage lawsuits over money, bizarre orgies at the Bath and Tennis Club, or some genuine outrage like a half-mad eighty-eight-year-old heiress trying to marry her teenage Cuban butler—but scandals pass like winter storms in Palm Beach, and it has been a long time since anybody got locked up for degeneracy in this town. The community is very tight, connected to the real world by only four bridges, and is as deeply mistrustful of strangers as any lost tribe in the Amazon.
The rich like their privacy, and they have a powerful sense of turf. God has given them the wisdom, they feel, to handle their own problems in their own way. In Palm Beach there is nothing so warped and horrible that it can’t be fixed, or at least tolerated, just as long as it stays in the family.
Epstein failed to keep their crimes in the family, and the wealthy were too stupid and lazy to not write incriminating emails to a wonton sex offender. Thompson had a keen eye for assessing American society’s rigid caste system, which was on full display during the Pulitzer divorce proceedings. He spared nothing in his bombastic indictment of the wealthy.
The Filthy Rich in America were depicted as genuinely filthy, a tribe of wild sots and sodomites run amok on their own private island and crazed all day and all night on cocaine. The very name Palm Beach, long synonymous with old wealth and aristocratic style, was coming to be associated with berserk sleaziness, a place where price tags mean nothing and the rich are always in heat, where pampered animals are openly worshipped in church and naked millionaires gnaw brassieres off the chests of their own daughters in public.
Of course, today’s most infamous Palm Beach sot is President Donald J. Trump, someone so disgusting and wicked that even the likes of Epstein was offended by him.
Here are some of the things Epstein wrote (verbatim) in emails about Trump now made public:
- “I told everyone from day one. evil beyond belief, mad”
- “i have met some very bad people ,, none as bad as trump. not one decent cell in his body.. so yes – dangerous.”
- “your world does not understand how dumb he really is”
- “he will blame everyone around him.”
- “i know how dirty Donald is.”
Now, we all should take anything said by this vile pervert with large grains of road salt but not everything Epstein said was a lie, and these statements about Trump are backed up by Trump’s very public words and deeds over the past 50 years. Evil, mad, dangerous, dumb, and dirty all feel like accurate descriptions.
Smoke typically signifies fire. So forget Occam’s razor; this is his entire fucking shaving kit.
It it possible that Trump never actually participated in the child rapes and other disgusting crimes that he’s accused of over the decades in the files? Of course – that’s why due process exists, and due process has not yet been applied in this situation. The world needs an independent body, one free of influence and fear, to investigate Epstein, Trump, and the rest. The FBI and Justice Department are beyond compromised by political hacks and cowardice. Hell, it took a rare bipartisan act of Congress to get the regime to release any of these documents, which were sloppily redacted.
Trump’s words and deeds over this lifetime in the public spotlight suggest that the accusations have merit worth a full investigation, no matter how long or expensive it is.

When you say shit like that, and publicly muse about fucking your own daughter and agree with Howard Stern that she’s a nice “piece of ass” you get zero benefit of the doubt.
The pussy-grabbing words were caught on live audio in 2005 on the infamous “Access Hollywood” tape that was made public a month before the 2016 election. That the tape didn’t end his political career is a terrible indictment of American media and the American people.
Looking back a decade since the tape’s 2016 release, it’s now not especially surprising that the audio of him bragging about sexual assault and about incest wasn’t a deal-killer for millions of voters. It’s the banality of evil at work – the evil men at the top don’t imprison or kill you, but their everyday followers will without question.

A whole lot of people in stupid little red hats will overlook and excuse Trump’s language and behavior because they are weak-minded and consider assaulting women and children less problematic than a Democratic woman in the Oval Office. Just like people overlook the secret police committing crimes including murder and defiling the Bill of Rights in order to conduct an ethnic cleansing campaign against brown people. The conservative rank-and-file were told to hate and fear non-whites by mindless barking blonde seals on Fox News, so they do.
That said, I think there are millions of Americans who are good, decent, moral people that are aghast by what has unfolded with Trump over the past year (and past decade), and find everyone associated with Epstein to be morally repulsive creatures unfit for any role in public life. Concurrently, I think a lot of people have finally grasped at how perverse and cruel and insatiable the ruling class is, and how the so-called free market is a rigged game. The only things trickling down are tear gas and blood.
So the question, really, isn’t why Trump hasn’t been removed. It’s why we as a people have not risen up to drive these degenerate monsters from power. They deserve the due process their victims were never afforded, and if found guilty, they should be punished accordingly and very publicly. If MAGA chooses to violently defend duly adjudicated sex criminals, and the regime illegally clings to power, then their violence should be met with an overwhelming ferocious response that removes this stain from American life.
I am terrified we are on the cusp of either a Northern Ireland type of civil war, or we meekly trudge into permanent Night in which the worst people in the world lord over everything in a violent, autocratic police state – what Orwell and so many others vividly warned us about.

Second, as with all of the Right’s hysterical and dishonest culture war bullshit, you could not pay me to give a fuck about Bill Clinton. If he’s guilty of participating in these crimes, punish him. Punish anyone in the files that are accused and given their day in court. It’s not a question of ideological loyalty. As someone said on social media, this isn’t a fucking football game. These are human lives that have been ruined and in some cases, ended because of these goddamn treacherous monstrosities.
Everyone is equal under the law. Or that’s what we were led to believe. There are a whole lot of twisted criminal freaks that walk free among us because of their wealth and influence, and MAGA has worked overtime to further expand the concept of a formal American version of the Third Reich’s “dual state” of justice and law (which non-white people have understood for centuries). The police follow any orders and foolishly believe the Nuremberg Defense will somehow protect them.

What this latest batch of Epstein files does is distract people and understaffed media outlets from keeping attention of violent illegal ICE raids and the trollish arrest of several Black journalists last week including Don Lemon, under the auspices of the KKK Act.
It distracts from the murders the government committed and has tried to both justify and cover up.
It distracts from Trump seizing Georgia election records and ballots from 2020 his increasingly obvious effort to thwart the upcoming midterms.
It distracts from imperial actions against Venezuela and Greenland and Canada.
It distracts from economy-wrecking tariffs and NATO-wrecking threats and from Trump hanging a photo of fucking Vlad Putin in the White House, a building he’s ruined to build a gargantuan $400 million ball-and-bribe dance hall.
It distracts from Trump putting his name on the Kennedy Center then shutting it down.
It distracts from his triumphal arch nonsense and his batshit Trump-class battleships.
It distracts from the distractions and soon will require a fresh distraction from itself. Maybe the president of the United States sharing a racist video of the Obamas as monkeys is an intentional distraction rather than his innate racism. Or maybe he’ll nuke Chicago.
Are they intentional distractions, or just the Outrage of the Day from a brittle, fearful, incompetent, bigoted, lazy, and wildly unpopular criminal regime led by third-rate sadistic buffoons? Feels like a distinction without a difference, no?
The Trump regime is an inept, arrogant, autocratic ouroboros devouring itself. It has to reach an end eventually, right? We’ve been waiting a long time. How many more murders and rapes and kidnappings and violence and crimes will we endure from this corrupt, depraved, antidemocratic and illegitimate government, which long ago lost its moral authority to exist? When will enough be enough?
The sex crimes aside, the regime has two choices: Trump orders his ICE goons to cool it so public anger dies down, or he orders all of it to continue while tossing a few minor expendable types like ICE Gruppenführer Gregory Bovino and maybe puppy-killing Kristi Noem under the bus.
Unfortunately, it feels as if the regime is incapable of controlling the forces it has unleashed and upon which it relies to stay in power. Its arrogant pride, that of an incel arguing in a 4chan or Reddit thread, doesn’t allow for real compromise or anything that suggests weakness. It cannot abide pressure or criticism from accounts like “FinalSolution1488” and “DixieKlanNooseGuy” and “KillAllTrannies69” and “Elon Musk” on Twitter. It caters to such people, and that’s who its openly white nationalist messaging is aimed at. That’s who it aims to please – racist grifters and moral deviants.
This is all so exhausting.
Atop this essay is a quote from a 1988 Hunter Thompson column published in the San Francisco Examiner. The topic was the spate of slick televangelists engaged in very public sex and money scandals while fleecing their rube-flocks, some of whom are today’s MAGA éminence grise types. The roots of our current problems trace themselves, in part, to the Republican establishment (Reagan, of course) inviting evangelic con artists into the party and into the halls of power, where they’d enrich themselves while using Congress and the Oval Office to make life worse for people they disliked. They remained either perverts or sexless, joyless scolds descended from the European root-matter that took hold on this stolen land centuries ago.

I’m old enough to remember the 1987 “scandal” that forced Democratic presidential front-runner Sen. Gary Hart to drop out of the race, because he was caught sneaking around with a woman named Donna Rice. A photo of her sitting on his lap, fully clothed, on a boat called the “Monkey Business” helped end his political career that had a legitimate shot at the presidency.
How charming and innocent by today’s gutter standards. Hart was sidelined by unbridled horniness, but at least with adults.
Now we have pundits and MAGA voters contorting themselves into hideous, revolting pretzels to defend Epstein and pedophilia to shield their porcine golden god-emperor.
Is this the country we want? Are these the people we want representing us in government?
Our choices going forward are dwindling. The opposition party is led by feeble collaborationists. Money and media favor Trump directly or indirectly by downplaying or sanewashing his utterances and lawless royal edicts. The cops are capital’s praetorians. The military has shown it’ll follow any order given by Trump.
We can vote. We can donate to righteous causes and organizations. We can find our people, our allies. We can engage in mutual aid. We can protest. We can film. We can protect our friends and neighbors. We can stand between the bullies and the vulnerable.
But it’s later than we think. We also need to discuss how to safely learn to defend ourselves from tyranny and its agents. And it’s time to have real discussions about defending our republic and our Constitution from forces that would end both to replace them with what amounts to Nero’s degenerate Rome and a New Confederacy led by soulless Silicon Valley tech oligarchs who openly loathe democracy.
These are hard, unfortunate conversations. No decent person wants violence, and the corrupt system protects itself from the citizenry by keeping us tied to jobs and the health care tied to employment. Everyone is busy and exhausted from living in an increasingly fascist casino where everything requires a fucking subscription (except this blog!). It’s easier to get stoned on the couch and let the nightmares drift away. But the monsters are still out there, and we’ve seen good people rise up in Minnesota and elsewhere, amid all the stupid and ugly weight of American life, to beat back these savage motherfuckers.
Let us hope it doesn’t come to defending ourselves from more government violence. But as the chaplain on the USS New Orleans said at Pearl Harbor: “Praise the lord and pass the ammunition.”
